So here's the story of my weight loss for the past few days.
As of last Friday, the 3rd of Sept. I was at 201.8 pounds. I was so psyched for it. Then I had a weekend that included working all day on Saturday, not eating my snacks, and then watching a football game that night in the company of Wingers chicken tenders with Blue Cheese. Sunday I fasted until late afternoon and then ate a big plate of Lasagna. Both delicious meals, but not on the plan. Especially without eating during the day to keep the metabolism pumping. So when I weighed Monday AM, I was up to 204.8! No matter how many times I got on and off the scale. 204.8. My thots were, easy on, easy off. So I really dialed in for the past couple of days and couldn't resist weighing myself this morning. 200.4! YEAH! I am psyched. My wife and I are planning to go to Southern Utah the weekend of the 24th of September and I am hoping to be down under 200 for that trip and with today's weigh in, I'm sure I'll be there!
On Monday I was in the grocery store and saw a friend who I haven't seen for a few months while he's been in Africa. He puts his hands on my belly and said, " Whoa! you've been losing some weight!" I didn't know how to react. It was really great to hear.

Been a little MIA over the week as I am shooting a short safety video.
I weighed this morning for the first time since Monday. I am now at 206 on the nose. That's three weeks in and 13 pounds down. I'm psyched about it. I've had things going these past couple of weekends, and haven't had a great weekend, yet, but this weekend should be nice and easy to stay good on the eating plan.

Breakfast
Not a very different breakfast, but...
1/3 cup oatmeal
1 Lemon Burst Yoplait yogurt
1 hard boiled egg
I forgot to bring some fruit with me to the office. Lisa bought some clementines that are delicious. They are just the perfect thing to carry.
Regarding the weigh-ins. Jason has a great theory on this. He weighs only twice a week. Once on Friday morning to see how he has done thru the week and once on Monday mornings to see how he has done thru the weekend. Schedules can just go haywire over the weekend and so I like the idea of checking in with yourself, but not everyday to cause needless alarm. I really wanted to weigh this morning, but I resisted. Its only 2 days until I get to weigh-in again. Imagine, actually being excited to get on the scale and see what it says.
So there it is. Another day underway.

Losing it
I'm losing it.
I have a new plan in place. It seems to be working for me. I'm going to use this blog to help keep me accountable. A friend of mine has turned me onto his eating plan. It has worked for him. Its working for me. I'll post a pdf of the plan that he sent to me. Check it out. I started last Tuesday. I'm down 8 pounds as of my Monday AM weigh-in.
